Tuscany is an incredibly varied wine region, whilst most people associate Tuscany with Chianti some of the truly powerful wines are made in Tuscany. It is also the home of legendary wines suges as Tianello and Sassicaia, also know as the super-Tuscans. The Tuscan appellation of greatest statue, and prices to follow suit, is Brunello di Montalcino, located just south of Siena.
