Alain Chavy

The Chavys are an institution in Puligny, dating back a couple of centuries now and in 2002 Alain Chavy and his brother, Jean-Louis, divided their father’s domaine up and went their own ways – albeit not very far! On a recent visit to the newly built and deep cellars of Alain to taste through his 2006 and 2007 Puligny Montarchets we were expecting to taste some decent wine as his father had had some seriously good vineyards and always made a true style of Puligny.
